The first pool was only big enough for one man. Since then the springs have changed again and again. You can relax in the hot pool (46?C) and try and catch a glimpse of a bighorn sheep on the surrounding hillside, or go for a dive or a vigorous swim in the cool pool (27?C). The facility also has a day spa, a gift shop, a cafe with indoor & outdoor seating, interpretive exhibits, and there are excellent hiking trails which will lead you right into downtown Radium. The pools are open year round and you can obtain day passes or family and group rates.

The Kindersley Summit is a strenuous day hike, but the views from the summit will make up for anything endured on the trail. First you travel through a valley, then switchbacks take you across avalanche paths through more forest and finally you emerge at an alpine meadow. |
It is considered one of best courses in British Columbia. Besides the magnificent views, you might catch a glimpse of one of the resident band of Rocky Mountain Big Horn sheep!
It is adjacent to the Columbia River wetlands, features a concession stand and RV Park and is traditionally open the earliest.
